up & down of network

It has been down for more than a week.
I couldn't take it anymore.
Finally calling up the computer center.
My reply was "Our engineers has noticed a disruption of the network points at your hall, so they went down to check, currently, I'm not sure of the results"
Well, yah lah. She already said the engineers are already down to check, so there's nothing she can say too.
But, from the conversation, I realised, they knew that the network has had trouble since last week and till now, they haven't managed to resolve it?
This is serious!
Anyway, thought it's also good that it's down.
If tomorrow, it happens again, I think I'm better off at the study centre than wondering in my room, when's the network going to be up.
